Dear Class Peers and Dr. Lisoni,

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Greg Dresden. I moved to Mishawaka in 2006, where I currently live. I am originally from Youngstown, Ohio. I was there until I moved to Texas when I was sixteen.

My career started in Dallas, TX, as retail management in a hotel gift shop, and I advanced from manager to general manager. Later, I went into the airport’s division gift shop, managing one to twenty-one locations. I have spent seventeen years as a retail manager, specifically in hotels and airports, which has given me a unique perspective on the business world. I am eager to continue exploring my options and to learn more about these fields. Over time, I needed more of a challenge, so I went back to school.

However, I am still undecided about majoring in business management or political science. Since 2018, I have been on an exciting academic journey and have faced both ups and downs with perseverance. My ultimate goal is to pursue corporate or international law, and I have already earned a certificate in paralegal studies from a local community college. Taking this course could assist me in gaining some knowledge of international politics.

My interest is to travel more internationally, and at some point, moving to a Latin country has been an ambition and objective of mine. I enjoy being outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I am excited to grow and learn alongside all of you throughout this academic journey.

Best Regards,
Greg
