“Friendship Span 30 Years”
Below is a link and a letter a dear friend had written for me. A recommendation as part of my graduation. First, I can’t believe we have been friends for 30-plus years, but we were colleagues and watched each other grow. Most importantly, I would not change anything about our friendship. Looking back, everyone reversed our names as they would call him Greg and myself George, and we rolled with the punches. LOL, A loyal friend at heart, Thank you, George! I wish each one a Merry Christmas!
Peace, Love, and Joy!

Greg’s Recommendation Letter[273]AA1
To The Excel Center, 12/09/2019
I’m honored to have this opportunity to offer my unreserved personal and professional recommendations for Greg, my friend & brother.
To think that our relationship stretches now some 30 years is almost unbelievable to me, an unlikely union of two very different upbringings. And yet, that’s why it flourishes and thrives to this day. We met in and started as work associates; turned professional colleagues all over an 8-year time span.
Greg is easy to get to know; he has an approachable personality and nurturing nature. I am often intrigued to watch him tackle a project and turn it into a success. I remain to this day, inspired by his drive, grit, determination, and effectiveness. He seeks to grow beyond his upbringing, to push beyond the limitations and circumstances once set for him at a very young age, and to fight for what he believes in.
Through these years of our friendship, I would learn of how unlikely it is that he should succeed in the manner he has and become the extraordinarily passionate man that he is today. Greg has pushed himself not to be defined by anything less than what he wants to develop himself to be, regardless of any limitations thrown his way. This proves to be his strength in both a professional and personal environment. He embodies Tennyson’s writing to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
Greg has the innate ability to evaluate a situation and extrapolate from multiple views. He adjusts quickly and pivots accordingly. He’s rooted in a great sense of practicality and sound judgment. He ultimately finds the most expeditious solutions, and he has a great work ethic.
I am so humbled how Greg is willing to gift forward what he has learned over these years. He’s repeatedly proven himself to be the consummately talented professional, peerless colleague, championing mentor, devoted partner and, benevolently trusted friend. He is honest in his core. And, he’s repeatedly earned my respect.
So it is, therefore, my sincerest hope that you, too, will have the privilege to experience working alongside Greg in any capacity. Not offering him the opportunity to task his skills and contributions will only delay your success. His amicable style and proven leadership will profit you in rewarding results. It’s you’re opportunity without regret.
Successful Regards,
George
